Digital AI-driven Processes

AI solutions have to work together with the processes and information in your organisation — only then can they be deployed as an integral part of it.

Why this module

Why this matters

AI solutions have to work together with the processes and information in the organisation. Only then are they deployed as an integral part of it — not as a stand-alone experiment that evaporates after the pilot.

AI complements the services or products the organisation delivers, and that increasingly happens digitally. This module gives you the insights and practical tools for information and process management on that digital playing field.

Content

What you will learn

Application

Directly in your own practice

You map a process from your own organisation and redesign it with AI — concluding with a professional product and an assessment.

Invoice processing

An administrator has AI pre-sort and validate invoices; exceptions go to a human — turnaround time is halved.

Complaint handling

A team leader has AI summarise and route complaints, so that case handlers start on the real work sooner.

Scheduling process

A planner combines a forecast of busy periods with a final human check on the schedule.

How you work

Learning alongside your job

You take this module the way you take the whole programme: classes every other week on Friday and Saturday, with a study load of 15–20 hours per week, of which 10–15 hours is self-study. The teaching is a mix of classroom sessions, workplace learning, blended learning and working groups or study teams — taught by lecturers who practise the profession themselves on a daily basis.

You conclude each theme with a professional product or a technical solution addressing a real situation in your own work, which you discuss in an assessment with the lecturer. This way your portfolio grows with real work — and your employer benefits directly.

After this module you deliver a redesign of a real process from your own organisation, with a well-founded use of AI.
